Social Research Institute

Currently, SRI is funded by over $26 million in external funding from competitive grants and contracts at the local, state, and federal level, and partners or collaborates with over 40 universities and agencies across 15 states.

The Social Research Institute (SRI) provides research, training, and implementation facilitation that assists agencies and programs to provide effective social services to children and adults. SRI strives to produce research that not only has high intellectual merit but also has broad impacts. As characterized by the National Science Foundation, the latter criterion involves research that, among other things, benefits society by not only creating new knowledge but also providing dissemination of findings, promoting training, and broadening the participation of underrepresented groups.
