Overview

This virtual session highlights how technology can enhance Motivational Interviewing (MI) skills in social work practice. Featuring Brad Lundahl and Cole Benson, the talk explores the challenges of learning MI and demonstrates how a virtual Motivational Interviewing app uses learning theory and technology to help social workers build, practice, and strengthen clinical skills. Part of the Social Work Beyond the Classroom series, the event focuses on innovative approaches to engaging clients, increasing motivation, and reducing resistance in virtual and clinical settings.
