About

The Bachelor of Health and Human Services (HHS) is a cross-disciplinary, skill-based degree that prepares students for a wide range of helping professions that support individual, family, and community well-being. The program focuses on practical skill development, ethical practice, and understanding the systems and services that shape people’s lives across the lifespan and in diverse settings.

Students build skills in case management, health education, crisis intervention, community outreach, and systems navigation, with a strong emphasis on trauma-informed care, respectful engagement, and strengths-based approaches. The curriculum blends classroom learning with hands-on experience through relevant internship placement.
